I am Belgian and have more than 13 years experience in floral design. I had a flower shop in Brussels for many years (where I participated in competitions and flower shows), and then in Montréal for one year before moving out to Saint-Paulin (where I bought an ecological B & B) to specialize in floral designs for weddings and special events.
Whatever the event you want to decorate with flowers (wedding, communion, funeral, Christmas party), here is what I propose:
- to meet you at my place or yours, with no obligation on your part, to talk about your preferences, needs, theme, budget, etc.
- to then send you by e-mail sample arrangements with their price so we can come to an agreement with full knowledge;
- to deliver the flowers where and when you need them.
Everything will be done fully respecting the planet and the natural and human environment. This is why I try to offer:
- "fair trade" flowers (Sierra Eco, etc.) that come from responsible flower production, both socially and environmentally: by choosing this type of flowers, you know that all has been done to ensure employees reach an "acceptable" standard of living;
- local flowers, which promote the work of farmers from Quebec and Ontario and also do not fly to get here;
- pots and vases that are "fair trade" or made from recycled glass: in buying these products, you ensure the women who produce them are not exploited, that they are in engaged for the long term in economic, social and ecological development, and that there are as few intermediaries as possible;
- recycled paper cards.
This is why you will not find useless wrapping here – or as little as possible.
